Grafton & Emily

We met while attending the Maine Maritime Academy studying engineering. After graduation, we worked as traveling Field Engineers where work took us to live in Kansas, West Virginia, and Illinois. After spending all our precious PTO to come home to our family in New England, we decided to move back permanently. Grafton now works as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager in the energy sector. Emily has departed from engineering and pursues seasonal work, notably working in Alaska as a handler for a dog sledding tourism company, and as a ski instructor.

Emily introduced Grafton to camping in college, which grew from a once a year activity into a full blown obsession with camping, hiking, and backpacking. We have now done overnight trips in New Hampshire, Maine, Alaska, and Utah.
